About This Index

The Portugal Safety Index (PSI) is published continuously by the Office of Continental Risk Assessment, a division of the Iberian Risk Institute. The index aggregates seventeen weighted indicators including atmospheric posture, geophysical activity, marine fauna behavioral metrics, and historical baseline deviation analysis.

Methodology is reviewed quarterly. The Institute does not endorse relocation decisions and cannot be held liable for outcomes resulting from index interpretation. For full disclosures, see Methodology & Sources, Section 4.2(b).
